One-on-one therapy is an amazing opportunity to explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that may be contributing to a negative cycle in life. Things like trauma, worry, shame, or feelings of low self-esteem can keep you stuck from living freely. I love working through this process to help children, teens, and adults understand and then heal! I utilize EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy in addition to EFIT (Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy) and cognitive based approaches.
We can work together to identify those areas where discovering and identifying feelings can help unlock pivotal opportunities for change. By focusing on how thoughts and emotions influence actions, what seems like an automatic pattern can be slowed down and changed for the better. Sessions will focus on helpful techniques that can be used on a daily basis.
